The business transitioned from Property & Casualty insurance to Health Insurance, positioning itself to meet the growing needs of small businesses. The company was rebranded as Associated Underwriters Insurance.
2004 – A Next-Generation Leader Joins
Chrissy Myers joined the company full-time, bringing fresh energy, vision, and a passion for helping small businesses thrive.
2012 – A Simpler Name for a Clearer Mission
Associated Underwriters Insurance shortened its name to AUI, reflecting a modern, streamlined approach while staying true to its legacy.
2015 – New Leadership
Chrissy was named CEO, continuing the family legacy while guiding AUI into its next era.
2016 – Honoring a Legacy
With the passing of Robert Myers, leadership transitioned to his wife Julie Myers, who served as President.
2019 – Growth & Expansion
Chrissy purchased AUI from Julie, taking full ownership. That same year, she launched Clarity HR, expanding the company’s offerings into fractional HR consulting and support.
2023 – Sharing the Story
Chrissy published her book, Reluctantly Resilient, inspiring leaders and entrepreneurs with her story of perseverance and growth.
2024 – Celebrating 50 Years
AUI celebrated its 50th anniversary by completing 50 Acts of Service to give back to the community.
2024 – A Voice for Business Leaders
The Better Business for Small Business Leaders Podcast was launched, providing insights, stories, and strategies to help business owners navigate challenges.
2025 – Collaboration & Innovation
The Business Fix Podcast debuted, co-hosted with Josh Troche, focusing on practical conversations about fixing what’s broken in business.
